Duncton wood is love story novel of moles. Bracken and Rebecca are the main characters. Bracken is not a fighting mole but a gentle, spiritual and caring mole. Rebecca is a happy mole, loves life and bring joy. Bracken and Rebecca love each other and they live in the Duncton wood system which is led by two evil moles, Mandrake and Rune. Beside that, Mandrake is Rebecca’s father. Then, there are many other characters which has relationship with Bracken and Rebecca. They are Bracken’s friend, Boswell is mysterious and down-to-earth moles, Mekkins is fun moles and Rose is gentle moles.
When the writer is focus on the going on in the Duncton wood system, describing the moles and their daily lives. I was never want to put this novel down. I was interested in what the happening was then. Next, when he described the exploring the ancient system of  Bracken and journey to Siabod of Bracken and Boswell had been very interesting me.
However, there are part of story which was made me confuse, when Mandrake, Rune and Rebecca are talking with their own language. The writer write their conversation with moles word. So, I didn’t understand what they were talking about. Then, when this story told us about the past story of the Duncton Wood system.
In addition, I have felt uncomfortable when I read the part which was description of mating. It was too sensual. And then, I dislike the part of Rune and Rebecca is almost obscene. Rune want to be a Rebecca’s boyfriend.
When we feel that we are not useful for other, no ones care for us and they also look us down, don’t ever desperation. We need to show them that we are able to be a great person with the way we are and to be what we are. Everyone is different and they have characteristics themselves. As Bracken, he is different with other moles. He is not fighting mole but he is a gentle and caring mole. His father dislike him because his father want him to be a brave mole. So, he went away from his family and finally he could take learn that he could be himself and a brave mole without need to be a fighting mole.
Most of the part of this novel is good. If I could change the story, I would never made Mandrake died. He is not pure evil. Mandrake could supported Bracken to be a leader in Duncton wood.
This novel tells us about love story. It is the moving love story of Bracken and Rebecca and their struggling to overcome the problem which they have. Beside that this novel raised up the issues about a struggling mole to show that he was a different mole but he was still a mole who dislike a fighting but he was still gentle because of his caring to other mole.
When I read the end of story, it was a happy ending. As I felt at that time, I was really happy too. I finished read this novel finally. I always get problem while reading this novel. I felt so sleepy while I reading because I have had bad healthy at that time. Then, in my dormitory was so crowded. However, I finished it.

Tegal.... The Awesome Journey

Jum'at 31 Januari 2013,Tegal merupakan salah satu tujuan kami pada akhirnya. Sebelumnya kami sempat bingung untuk memilih tempat tujuan dikarenakan tujuan semula yang telah direncanakan tiba-tiba ada sedikit kendala yang menyebabkan kami harus mencari tempat tujuan lain. Pukul 15.30 setelah sholat ashar kami meninggalkan mesjid fathullah yang kami jadikan sebagai tempat untuk berkumpul. Sekitar 17 0rang yang mengikuti perjalanan ini. Tujuan kami mengadakan perjalanan ini adalah sebagai salah satu program dari sebuah kumpulan alumni dan senior dalam sebuah organisasi mesjid. Ini bukan sekedar jalan-jalan biasa tapi merupakan jalan-jalan inspiratif. Kami berusaha mengunjungi tempat-tempat yang memiliki kisah-kisah inspiratif buat kami bukan sekedar jalan-jalan ke tempat-tempat wisata dan bersantai. Sekitar pukul 01.30 dini hari kami tiba di kediaman Kak Rodiyanto, salah satu alumni kami. Pagi harinya kami mengunjungi sebuah tempat. Ini merupakan kediaman seorang dalang terken...
